RUCOGEN SOP
Because we love water!A careful dealing with water is more topical than ever before. RUDOLF GROUP actively contributes to reducing the water consumption in textile finishing processes. We, therefore, develop effluent-efficient processes and focus on avoiding effluent, saving time and minimising cost.
Finishing textiles with the aim to make them “lively“, i.e. to improve existing properties or to create new ones, is hindered by increasing costs for water and energy.
We, therefore, endeavour to provide fini-shers with means - in the form of textile auxiliaries - that enable them to handle existing resources with care and to optimally use their machinery.
With RUCOGEN SOP we succeeded in developing an aftersoaping agent for reactive dyeing and printing, with which

- effluent cost
can be saved.
Rinsing baths directly following reactive dyeing offer the possibility to save water. In conventional soaping processes one to three soaping baths - depending on the colour depth - precede soaping. However, with RUCOGEN SOP soaping can be carried out directly after neutralising, additional rinsing is not necessary.
Less water consumption means less requirement of energy. Heating is reduced, and, due to shorter machine running times, the consumption of electricity.
RUCOGEN SOP complies with the slogan “time is money“ . This means the same output but lower machinery cost or higher output at unchanged machinery cost.
Compared with conventional aftersoaping agents RUCOGEN SOP has stronger aftersoaping effects. Even in electrolyte-containing liquors (20 g/l salt) soil redeposition on fibres due to removed dyestuff is effectively counteracted during aftersoaping with RUCOGEN SOP.
RUCOGEN SOP

- prevents the redeposition of removed dyestuffs
- prevents bleeding into the white ground
- improves the rubfastness of dyeings and prints
- improves the wetfastness properties (wash, water and perspiration fastness properties)
- prevents the formation of dyestuff agglomerates
- has high emulsifying and dispersing capacities
- sequesters water-hardening substances
RUCOGEN SOP comprises different, special high performance polymers. One component has a high dyestuff substantivity. Another one, consisting of an anti-backstaining polymer, prevents the redeposition of the hydrolysate.
