Fluorocarbon impregnation for all leathers, shoes and their care

Fluorocarbon polymers impart excellent water, oil and dirt repellent properties. For this reason they are used in different formulations and applied in different process steps.

RUCO-PROTECT can be used in wet-end and finishing, by roller coater or spray application. For the spray application RUDOLF offers water and solvent-based products.

In addition to the use in the leather production fluorochemical compounds are also used successfully in the formulation of leather and shoe finishing chemicals as well as leather care products.

Fluorocarbon impregnation is applied to all sensitive leathers for garments, furniture and car upholstery and shoe uppers. Fluorochemicals therefore are tailor-made for nubuck and suede types as well as for sheep skins clothing.

All RUCO-PROTECT products are based on modern C₆-technology and therefore PFOS* and PFOA*- free.
